Sooo i asked 4kruzen so i might aswell ask you guys as well...
Im intrested in a Fairlady Z but id like to know the average costs of one like with OOP's and Such all in the cost 4kruzen said im looking at about 10-15000 which im willing to pay but they dont have many Fairldays on there site....
areyou looking for one that is already in Canada or do you want to order one? 5 speed or auto?
Importing one id prefer 5 speed but if it comes down to it i think i could bring myself to buy an auto...
Decent 5 speed twin turbo Z's are $7500-10000 if you order from Japan. If it's already landed and on our website, you can expect them to range between $11,000-13,000. When ordering from Japan, we leave it up to you to do the inspection and repairs, but as you can see there is a lot of room if you order it. The only examples from Japan costing $15,000 would be 600ps examples that are completely modified or one's with less than 30,000km.
Christian is right! well sort of, dear god what have i said...
So am I... ok heres the deal...
IC cars are as is, landed in vancouver. say a 10,000 fairlady.
4kruzn cars are not as is, and are in edmonton. say 11000 for same car. 500 extra to get to edmonton and about 500+/- for oop and a few parts.
then for example our 15,000obo white fairlady has all four new shocks 600.00 and 4 new 18" tires. 800.00 then new brakes 400.00 and also has had a body kit installed and painted. cost 2000.00 then the car was show quality polished and put on desplay at DTP. cost 250.00 so do you see now why there prices are lower. because you woud get thet car as is from japan. all importers typically can buy the same cars from japan. But when dealling with 15 year old cars the price that you pay is absolutly determined by condition. these cars can be bought very very inexpencively for average or below average condition ones. for mint low mile ones lots are still selling in japan for 13-15000. the definition of mint is the question. one persons mint car is anothers AVERAGE at best car. you HAVE to be able to see the car before you can know what the condition really is.
so what it really boils down to is how much do you want to spend and what condition fairlady do you want? if you want to buy a $7000 one or a $12-15,000 one?
give me a call and i can explain in more detail. 993 3658. Conroy. |
