2002 Mazda Protege 5
- First Owner Registered in Richmond B.C.
- I am Second owner, Registered vehicle April-March 2006
Engine: MTX 2.0L DOHC I4 stock approx 134 hp.
Modifications to Engine - None.
Stock exhaust was rusted, had a magnaflow cat back system professionaly installed at Park Muffler in Sherwood Park Alberta, have receipts.
Interior: Dark Grey Cloth, Dark Grey dashboard, silver trim.
All Stock, can leave aftermarket headunit for additional cost (Panasonic CQC 7114 $200.00) otherwise returning to stock cd am/fm player.
Sunroof fully functional, and hides in the roof of the car.
60-40 split rear bench seat, seats removable from vehicle in seconds, plus fold down for additional cargo space.
Exterior: Paint Quality 8/10 - 1 parking lot ding on passenger door. Installed aftermarket foglamps to replace the broken stock ones. Give a yellow glow. Remaining exterior is stock.
Wheels: Stock 16 inch rims, wrapped in new rubber from Sundance Mazda. Drove on tires for approx 1 month.
Aftermarket rims (optional) additional $1500.00 -
Enkei CDR-9 18" with 40mm offset. Wrapped in new Hankook Ventus H405 Street Performance Tires. Professionally installed at Fastek Tire Stores. All receipts available.
History:
Vehicle has a clean carfax report, sitting at 134xxx kms. Runs like a clock, not a single problem performance wise, LSD transmission is a joy to have, very quick and peppy car, a lot of power in the low rpm range. High quality vehicle, not smoked in since ive had it, no animals in the car.
This car is a daily driver, work and back.
Viper 2 way alarm system, door locks, hood sensor, shock sensor, proximity sensor. all manuals for the alarm included as well as receipts. Alarm still warrantied. Vehicle warranty expired in October 2005, original owner did not purchase extended. Car is not modified for any kind of racing. Car was never raced and has not seen an Albertan winter.
I am selling this car because I am buying a high performance sports car, and insurance wont allow me to have both vehicles for a moderate rate.

I may, but the skyline will be getting fixed up for the next couple months, so if the weather is going to be as fair as they say, i may bring it out for a few.
And the LSD transmission is a standard option on all 2002-2003 protege 5's and is a phenominal gearbox. |

Removed the rims, and installed the ones from my skyline..
they are still a very nice flush fit, with enough fender gap to prevent rubbing, very sporty looking on the car.
Will post pictures of it soon.
