how to tell if shock is blown? - Click HERE for Original Thread

mitsubitchy
As title states, how do you tell if your shocks are blown. I lowered the car 2 months ago with eibach sportline and used the stock shocks. The left rear is just slightly higher and on the road it doesnt bounce up and down like how a blown shock is supposed to do. Anyone know whats this about, left rear is probably only 3mm higher.

You can tell when they are blown.. sometimes when Oil leaks out of them.. and Obviously when they are Really bouncie...

I'm not sure if all shocks use oil as their absorber.. but.. When they blow.. they leak the oil out.. and eventually.. it get's bouncie, due to the fact that there is nothing absorbing the shock.. :p
