| The annual maintenance cost is really not a lot. I have 2 newer sets of rubber (summer/winter), I just did the timing belt service and the brakes are about 90% all around according to the inspection I got a month ago. Oil changes are easy but synthetic obviously costs a little more. Other than that, the only downside is that if you need a part, it will most likely be coming from Vancouver and can take a few days to show up. |

If you have to ask about the maintenance costs, you probably shouldnt own a JDM car that was never produced in north america.
I dont have a GTR, I have a GTS-t, I do mobil1 or amsoil oil changes myself, I do all my own maintenance, so therefore the labour is cut out, and I can honestly say, $2000 a year would be a low estimate. Like he said parts are few and far between, but are available. This is a premium car indeed! I'm still trying to sell mine, so I can upgrade to a GTR. |

It really depends on your driving style (ie. burning tons of rubber off), but I dont think that annual upkeep should be more than 2K. I mean oil changes...250-350
Other fluids...250-350 (rad, diff fluid, tranny)
If you autocross a lot, tires and brakes will be a bit, but you are definatly good for a year on both of those as it sits now.
Glass is all good, air filters are about 40-50 bucks eac and you will need 2 at a time, but only needed about every 20-25,000kms...I just put a set about 3k ago.
This car was an auction grade 4 and needed very little, and is in better shape now.
I honestly think that the biggest cost you will incur is either going to be tires or power upgrades (which are not "neccesary"...lol...yeah right!) |

| If your 17 i dont recommend you buy a GTR, enough 17 year olds have wrapped these around poles, there are barely any in existance any more, lets at least keep a few alive to see the 08-09GTR unveiling |
