DC2-information updated(apologize for length) - Click HERE for Original Thread

ALIAS81
Because of all the flourishing activity in the past month, and specifically in the past couple of weeks, i've created sort of a template of what has been brought up by many on here.

To begin everyone is cool with the joint leadership role between a number of us? Although I somehow was voted in, i would really encourage everyone to step up and help out. Im sure the crew from DC5 would agree that a team effort is how they got to where they are. I guess i just want everyone to know that im not going into this in a dictatorship type fashion; i still am the same as all of you. an Integra enthusiast.

1)First off if anyone still doesnt know the first meetup(hoping on the weather) will be on April 26th which is a saturday at 11am. The parking immediately to the left of Hawrelark sounds like a good place to have it.yes? no? I think at this point the count on integras showing up was at 18-20 cars.5 being gen2s and 15 being gen3s. It'll be great to see everyones rides. Im sure everyone is getting anxious.

2)Anybody gonna bring anything? as far as food or drinks. BBQ maybe?? or should we keep it simple this time around??

3)Someone brought up the possibility of going to Powerama that same day. I think it was Scintilater. So unless we decide upon this on here, we can discuss if we wanna head out there after the meet or do our own thing. maybe a cruise??

4)SCC. Does anyone want to maybe enter there car(s) for that event? to represent our club??

5)Website ideas. layouts, logos, decal design, etc.

6)DC2-DC5 joining up? any input on it. Any DC5 members who want to show up are welcome to with open arms :grouphug: ok maybe we wont be this close

7) Chowder has offered, if we want to come along with DC5 to the meetup in Red Deer on the 19th..now im not sure if its the 19th of May or April? maybe one of the DC5 members could clear this up.

8)Sponsorship has come up as a topic. Anybody who thinks they might have a contact please feel free to share with the group. I have a contact and possible sponsorship, but its in T.O. And i think many of us would agree that having something locally would be better.

If i missed anything( i tried not to) then please feel free to add to this and respond to any of the topics above. I apologize for the lengthiness of this once again. thanks guys and gals.

Our meet (DC5AB's) in Red Deer is April 19th, so the saturday before your first meet. The guys leaving from edmonton are meeting up at heritage mall somewhere around 10:30 or so. The plan is to meet everyone at the Centrium (big hockey arena) in Red Deer at around noon. Hope that clears things up for you guys.

Instead of bringing food or drinks or nothing...howz about we go to a restaurant for lunch? I like La Pagode ( vietnamese type food ) on 170th St and 95th ave. There's a huge parking lot that I'm sure we won't have a problem with. Food is not expensive at all. And we can have a little wee cruise on the way there and on the way to powerama (if we decide to go ).
My only concern is if the restaurant will have a problem with that. Although I doubt they will.

Just an idea
:D

yes it is for the 26th.

I know it's not on the way. It's one of the only asian food places i like. Personally, I don't mind the drive. But if it bothers people we can pick another place to eat, no probs :D

i'd actually rather bbq some steaks any day, drink some beers, chill in the sun, but hey that's just me...
