Wifes new dyno #'s, Skyline - Click HERE for Original Thread

Car 91 skyline gts-t type m

The car was just put together so its untuned till tomorrow
9 psi, 289whp and 23x wtq. We will have it tuned and running around 14-15 psi tomorrow. I will post the new #'s tomorrow along with dyno sheet's. 350+whp here we come :fingersx:

They are running a 60trim turbo, i forgot what kind of turbo it was but the dyno runs were crazy.

LOL I will post a vid and or pics of it on the dyno.
I will post a mods list with turbo specs after the tunning is done.

Corrected or uncorrected? What turbo? I wanna see the sheet.:thumbup:

uncorrected is always lower then corrected unless you are below sea level right?

Apex did the dyno and work. I dont have that dyno sheet for that run from them but I have a new one that I will post up in time. I am unable to tell the new dyno numbers as some of you already know. I will better explain the situation in a day.

ok the last number we got was 317 whp. The maf wasnt reading anymore and the engine lost compression from running rich and ect ect ect. The car took a beating during 44 dyno runs un tuned in that condition.

For right now my wife is going to drive her car safely tuned at very low psi until the parts come in and the engine can be fixed.

Hm, the dyno chart doesn't look bad. How did the motor let go?

Looks like you might have had a little bit of ignition break up in the higher RPM.

It shouldn't, I had a similar size turbo in my Integra and I was at full boost by 4500 RPM.

Something is definately wrong with that car.

Hopefully you get everything figured out man.

The problem is the maf isnt reading any higher. I have a new maf from the 300 but I need the plug now. The turbo was spooiling at 3800 rpm at 9 psi on the first 3-5 runs competely un tuned. After that the wastegate came loose for some reason and then it started spooling like that at 4800 rpm. Timing, air/fuel, the maf and the wastegate being loose are some of the major issues right now and also when the dyno was done. I am hoping to have all of those issues dealt with by tonight so she can run it at the track tomorrow and to able to drive it until the parts come in and they can rebuild the engine. Look at the air/fuel it is running 10:1 and flattening out.

I was NOT there. Apex was suppose to call me and they didnt they went ahead and did it themselves causing the engine to blow. there is SOOOOOOOOO much more to this story. I will tell the story later on. But long story short they hooked up a hose to the boost side from the valve cover and blew the bottom end during a dyno run. At that time the dip stick flew out and the factory oil pressure gauage went out and then what did they do?? fix the hose and push in the dip stick and conitued to run the car another 30 or so times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The final numbers od 317 whp are on a blown motor. That is also why the turbo spools at 5800 rpm right now. When we first put it on for the few runs I saw it was spooling at 3800 rpm and hitting 289 whp no smoke no nothing. As for what they did the next day when they "forgot" to call me I DONT KNOW. They also wrecked the hicas. The car is FUCT. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Sound like a bunch of used parts were dropped off and someone told them to make it work.

Stock MAF and a turbo like that. What are people thinking.

the stock gts-t maf is 80mm and should handle 350 to the wheels:dunno:

I believe it is an N60 maf which is good for 300 maybe a little over. 317 is very damn close. Hoping for 350 on that maf is pointless.

First of all my manifold, wastegate and BOV were the ONLY things used and they came from memo on Rbowners.com and he builds RB's all day everyday they had 5000 km on them and Travis and Karl said the manifold was "very good". They had a small issue with the bov sticking because it sat for so long. My turbo, fmi, injectors, emanage ect ect ect was all BRAND NEW. Everyone who seen my car tonight at the track and at the meet can verify this to be true. And as for the maf it maxes out at 320 whp not whatever you are saying. As soon as we found that to be a problem we got a memeber from this forum to rush down to apex with one from a 300zx and apex didnt know how to install it. Not only that after a litre of oil just finished going through my stock maf and air filter and they had NO clue why I wasnt about to even put it on. If I knew the maf issue I would have brought one to begin with but that is something a "performance" shop should know in my opinion. They never even told me the issue with the bov until after it was fixed. Apex had bare communication with us through out this entire thing even though we went there everyday.


I feel like I had to defend myself that is why I just wrote all of that. I have been adviced from my lawyer not to continue this discussion on this thread due to the on going legal dispute between apex and I.

To end it yes you are right there is two side to every story good thing my includes videos, pictures and letters.
