Do any of you have the v3 computer link kit to take off videos and pictures? Is so does it work well, how much, Where do i buy one?

HaULiN_aZz
ive got the kit...it works really well...it allows you to put pics/vids on the phone as well as take them off...you can also put songs onto your phone for ringtones ect....
the kit cost 60 bucks i think...and u can get it at a rogers store...
all the kit comes with is the cd with the program on it and a usb cord that has the proper end so that it fits into the phone....(its the same type of cord that would allow you to plug a mp3 player into the computer to download songs.)
hope that helps:thumbup:

The old USB cables from my Sony MD work with the razr, it's just one of the many USB cables easily purchased from your local Source by CC. And once you've got that you need a program called "Motorola Phone Tools", which is easily attainable from various clandestine services.

eBay has more "kits" than you can count for dirt cheap.

i bought one of those retractible usb cables and it came with the proper 5 pin mini USB.

and i managed to find information about where to find phonetools online on one of the many file sharing sites that dont host any actual files. mininova or something

Ya I have a usb cable that fits it from my old mp3 but it doesnt recognize it when i plug it in. Im gonna go pick up the kit though. Thanks.

Mustard
it doesn't recognize it, cause you need drivers for it.

Do a google search, there has to be some software out there somwhere.

Motorola Phone Tools v.4.0 is what you need.

Alpha Gangsta
I bought my USB cable and genuine Motorola Phonetools off ebay for about $10 after shipping.
but cheapest way is downlaoding phonetools from a torrent and looking for the USB maybe at OA computers or memory express for cheap.

Honda_Civic_25
is that the program i will need if I have the V3c intead of the V3?

I got a freind to dwnload it and burn it for me. Works really well. I just used an old mp3 player cord. Thanks for info though.
