Hello All,
Well, I needed a cheap, reliable car to get me around until I recover from the loses from my previous car and that's exactly what I got from my Jetta. It's time to move on..
The car is a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 1.9L turbo diesel. I am the second owner of the vehicle. It has black exterior and black/grey interior. The transmission is a 5-speed manual. The car has 264,xxx kilometers, but anyone that knows these engines knows they are known for 500,000+. Recent maintenance done was brakes all around, still 60% left all around. Timing belt was also done at 200,000km at Norden. I replaced the fuel filter at 255,000KM and oil was just changed at 260,000km with Lubro Molly Synthetic motor oil.
The car is stupid efficient, it burns on average 5.3-5.6L/100km in the CITY!! I average around 800km per tank. It would be a perfect student.

The car has some minor body rust in a few places. Otherwise the paint is good. The only item needing attention currently is the shocks in the front, they feel a little bouncy. The car already has winter tires installed on it currently as the previous tires were worn.
I bought this car in January this year for $6500. Since then I added the stereo and I am only asking 5500$obo. This is a really fair price as people are asking anywhere up to $7000 for these cars. With the gas prices these days, these cars are a sure bet.
