This is so cool!

Birth of a Legend

its pretty nice, but it doesnt really go from beginning to end like the making of the E46 video. that one they started out with a roll of sheet metal and stamped out everything else. its cool still though, is that a video where they first released the Z32? couldnt really tell unless everybody celebrated when a Z32 is fully built

yup that's the first Z32 for that assembly plant

Actually, that's the last Z32 from that plant, number 300 of 300, destined for the North American market in 1996. Still a cool vid.

oh ok. I had it backwards. # 300 of 300 is in a museum now isn't it?

I guess they put on a good *show* for the Americans (and Canadians too, but we're small potatoes.). :D
Little did we know back in 1996 that they were planning to continue production of the Z32 on home soil right up to 2000.

That video was kinda neat, but didn't really show any cool parts of the assembly. And the background music was awful.

I can see it now, lol right after the filming of that video..."OK, BACK TO WORK! THE 1997's AREN'T GOING TO BUILD THEM SELVES"
