| is the ignition assembly of a LHD 300ZX and a RHD 300ZX the same? i own a RHD 1990 300ZX and some bastard tried to steal it, failed to get it started, and left my ignition all messed that i couldn't even get my key in there to start it. the shop that i brought it to said they're having a tough time finding the parts. i was just wondering if the ignition assembly from the LHD and RHD setup was that much different from each other. I don't know much about mechanical stuff so any advice would be very much appreciated since i consider this my first real car. Thanks. |

| should be exactly the same. Maybe minor differneces |

| oh but the sterring column, and all associated brackets are more than likley not compatible. Wirring should be the same and the ignition cylinder. |
