is the ignition assembly of a LHD 300ZX and a RHD 300ZX the same? i own a RHD 1990 300ZX and some bastard tried to steal it, failed to get it started, and left my ignition all messed that i couldn't even get my key in there to start it. the shop that i brought it to said they're having a tough time finding the parts. i was just wondering if the ignition assembly from the LHD and RHD setup was that much different from each other. I don't know much about mechanical stuff so any advice would be very much appreciated since i consider this my first real car. Thanks.

should be exactly the same. Maybe minor differneces

oh but the sterring column, and all associated brackets are more than likley not compatible. Wirring should be the same and the ignition cylinder.
