this is the BOV, (I paid way less than that for it off ebay!)

BOV

SilviaDrifter
yes me FTW!!! i knew it was RFL style BOV

Soulfly
RFL Is sweet.. I have one sitting right in front of me...

But it sounds like you need to loosen it up a bit? :dunno:

raidar
I saw you go by the other day..sounds good

fugumerkur
awesome! I was spotted. actually with the BOV I tightened it up a bit because my car doesn't instantly go back to vacuum, it takes an extra second and if I get hard on the brakes (also run on vac) the car will stall out. Not safe in traffic!

but knowing the 21 year old car that it is, I probably have a small crack in a vac line and its causing me problems..

Does your car run on a MAP or MAF system?

fugumerkur
Map I believe, you mean like a barometric pressure sensor... its a little black box on the fire wall.

It would have been priceless if you would of drove over the camera....

I was just waiting for that. :)

fugumerkur
awe comeon, I can see the damn camera. it has a red light on it. unlike some drivers in the city, I can see crap on the road.

thanks for the love:asshole:

No, I am asking what kind of airflow meter your car utilizes.

fugumerkur
ah its just some vintage Vane air meter! only advantage to it is I can add stuff like an intercooler and piping and get away with a cam sproket to make up for the fuel I need.

I can upgrade to Mass air like the mustangs (using mustang parts like 65 MM throttle body) and have to rewire a few things and actually get better performance, but the best thing to do is just get an EEC4 computer out of a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and the cars larger Vane air meter.
The T-bird with its TMIC and Big VAM makes 200 horse stock, over my cars small computer and no Intercooler making 175, quite an improvement for some cheap parts!
