I was reading a few threads about how the prelude club is not doing so well lately and you guys want to revise it a little. i would suggest make a real web page instead of just the 780 page similar to NLR. if you have one them i am just being ingnorant and i am sorry. i think it would really show what your club is about, make it easier to get around for people wanting to view it and allow you to make profiles for each of your members and their cars. that would be awesome

yea something like VPC. however, with club support at an all time low im highly doubting anyone is willing to put in alot of cash to make that happen.

it really doesnt require cash to build a site. Does anybody in this club know someone who can build a web page. the membership fees could help pay for someone to build the website and it only cost about 30 dollars a month to keep the site going. internet rent space. when you say an all time low how many members are still apart of this club? im sure if a site was built it would help ALOT. i would be a place where the club could unite instead of having to use a secondary site. the forum is good on this site i would just link the site to use this forum but just use the site to post events, profiles, pictures, etc that sort of thing. I have a friend who has designed multiple sites and was acutally paid by my old school (strathcona) to design theirs. Im sure he wouldnt charge that much to built a site for the club, unless one of you guys know how to build sites.

I spent 3 years in Computer Science. I know all the theory and have the programming skills to do anything. HTML, DHTML, XHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, JScript, CSS, VBScript, etc. Problem is, I'm not creative and I suck at graphics, and it's been a few years since I've been in the game. If it comes down to need, I can do it, but I think I'm more a plan to keep in the back pocket unless it becomes necessary. |

OHH GOD then i can help this club like no one else. I got 95 percent in my graphic arts class photo classes and art classes. trust me i can design a really good site i just have no clue how to use the programs. creating a site is really about the backgrounds, the theme that you make all the borders, and pictures. REally good pictures make a site shine, as well acessability. it has to be designed to fit the needs of ppl just browsing. 780 took me a lot of clicks and searching just to find pictures of your guys club

if your serious pm me. im really looking into branching off 780. a site similar to vpc would be awesome. i would also be willing to cover most of the fees to host one. i want to make the club work at any cost. we have the members, they just need to be more active. the club will get better. i guarantee it.

Well all i really need to know is what you need me to do. I dont have a clue how to make a webpage really. but i can give suggestions and help build a page with a few of you. if you want a page everyone really likes i suggest a few of your members come and help build it so everyone can give suggestions and opinions it really helps when building a page.

i would seriously suggest DO NOT make it way to complex. by complex i mean have tons of pages open up everytime you click a new button. i would be willing to come and help out and give suggestions one what should be done if that would help at all. I would like to see this club get going. i remember a few years back when iwas saving up for my lude a few friends would talk about boston pizza meets and i always wanted to check them out. now that i got my prelude i want to take advantage of being in a sweet car club. so i am willing to help out

yes pretty close. i would just say change the background colors. leaving web pages white typically seems boring i would spice it up a little.

since edmontons club is a little smaller im guessing i would not divide the sections like they did with the 1st 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th tabs. i would probably just lump it all together similar to absolute prelude. if youve seen that site that is a really good site to learn from. very easy to get around and extremely helpful good color scheme too the difference is with a club you can have profiles like i suggested and let everyone have a little section to boast about their car and the work they have done
