3/8"flange

pipes are mandrel bent obviously. merge collector is made by a company in the states who has done alot of reasearch on the subject.

and i have cad drawings of the flange and models of the pipes

what would you do?

we plan for it to be for "savage n/a builds" :D

it will be the best header ever made for a neon, with no expense spared, sold just over cost to offset the price of me and my partner getting one for free:D

what do you guys think about anireversion tubes?? it was brought up on another site..

also the header will be ceramic coated and the primaries will be stepped

LOL. But what kind of power are you expecting out of this? 1 MAYBE 2 hp??

And use atleast a 1/2 inch flange.

fatbastard
How do you know it'll be the best without real world testing?

Why would you use a half inch flang. IMO thats just un-needed wieght. Realistically as long as you properly tighten your bolts / nuts and do so in the correct order you should have no problems with a 3/8 inch thick one.

3/8" is good for a n/a flange thats what my last one was

i'm using studs and bolts

the merge collector alone over just a crap collector on a header is worth 8-15hp at the wheels. keep in mind the amount of dispacement and other factors.

i know it will be the best... theres a group of people working on this and we're spareing no expense on getting the best header for an open header application (we expect cost to be about 450 each (not including labour) and we're selling for about 500)

we have proven collectors already, a step tube design, and a lengh that has been proven to be the best.. basically we are putting all the best stuff in one package

i've been looking at these lately... not the original ones i wanted but they look good...:dunno:

Best of the Best.

You should quit your day job and just make headers.......

:D

Ok I will be optimistic and guess 5rwhp on a stock neon.
