FU EASPORTS.... your NHL07 BLOWS!!! ps2 version!

just bought the game 30 mins ago... and let me say i was very very disapointed in, it's nothing more then a revamped nhl06, it's ALL the freakin same, im soooo pissed about this,

im going out tomorrow and picking up a 360 just for this game, i played the demo the other day for 360 and this gave me very high hopes for the ps2, atleast change the code or something... just needed to vent a bit.

for all who plan to buy this for the ps2, DONT, save yourself the 30 bux... and just keep on the 06

thanks

POX

I'll take it off your hands If you don't want it???

Freebie? :dunno:

the rosters are almost the same still, some junior players are in it now, but half the trades arent there
:)

feature i like though is you can send players to the minors insted of benching them

Stainless
It's awesome for the PC. The new controls are incredible!

Honda_Civic_25
well luckly I am not going to spending a cent for this game. Tomorrow I am going to eb games and taking them up on their offer of trade 3 games in and get nhl 07 for free, and I am trading in like nhl 06, juiced, and GTA Vice city lol all old games. So i think its a good deal. I am temped to go out and buy a 360 for the HD and for top spin 2 but I want to wait for ps3 :(

eeebowlahhh
sorry to burst your bubble but they wont take vice city, i bought a 360 from them today and tried to trade it in, so find another ;)

i retract my first statement, this game rules for the 360, lol

eeebowlahhh
oops nm, they wont take san andreas. my bad.

Mustard
they may not take the sports games either....

lots of rules to those offers... check closely. There's a reason we don't ever bother with those offers... lose way too much money on the crap people trade in.

good call on the PS2 NHL 07 though... revamped suxs, you can't even buy the competition though, it got recalled.

Such a gong show, lol. It's like they made the game but no-one bothered to acctually pop one in a system to see if it acctually worked, lol.
OR! Maybe it's a way to sneek in updated rosters, cause it won't be out for a month now... hmmmmmmmmmm, i wonder

They always have had very little incremental changes, ever since NHLPA 93 for SNES. :D

I haven't played it yet, but the Xbox 360 version apparantly has an all new way of controlling the player/stick.

I wish that they could have implemented this across all of the platforms.

I just picked up the PC version, and I'm loving it.

shredzoo7
ya i bought it for regular xbox.. and it's retarded. You can only use skill stick for passes not shots. Only worth buying if you can use the skill stick for SHOTS!! i guess I have to buy a 360 just to play nhl 07.. what an expensive sacrifice

Danny_lude
the 07 360 version i think is better than the 06 with the new skill stick option........learn the new controls rather than playing the classic controls only way to kick ass

ImportsDirect
I agree. Once you figure out the skill stick, you can put the puck anywhere you want it. The only thing that I do not like is that they eliminated the speed burst, but I guess they are going for realism now.

they take in all sports games but if they are over a year old u dont get anything for them......

I bought the 360 version, and the skill stick is awesome! It seems to freeze my xbox more than any other game though.

silvia s13
nhl 07 for 360 sucks BIG time. Ya, its got good graphics but fuck, how many damn posts can you hit! Almost every goal hits the post along with every 2nd shot.

Not a big fan of the controler switch either. They should have put in a practice area where you can practice moves and shots etc.

The worst thing about it though is the fact that you can have 2 guys against 1 computer player who has the puck and 9 times out of 10 the computer will win. But if you have the pick, its almost imposible to not lose it. Ill play 06 anyday over 07. Thought it might be just something to get used to but after playing half the season, i know now that its not. Ohh, and nice to tell you have to win face offs...took me 20 games to figure that out.
