| hey, i have a 1995 eagle talon esi, and latley right behind the driver seat somewhere it has begun to rattle. this happens when my music bass hits a low enough note and it makes a loud rattle noise. the thing is i have only factory speakers and no subs or amps. what could this maybe be. and how can i fix it? |

| I had a problem similar to this. I could hear something rattling when my stereo was at a certain volume. I searched the car completely, and it turned out to be a pop tab in my backseat cup holder. haha. I hope you can find the source a little easier than I did.:D |

| The factory speakers in DSM's arent really all that great, they're probably blown now. All 4 of my speakers in my Eclipse were blown when I bought them, but I since I no longer care about car audio I left them in and it sounds like tin canned ass. And on another note, our interiors are notorious for mystery rattles. |

| o really. so is there blots and screws i can look for when i take my door panels off? o and my windown seems to be the loose thing becuase when i get out of my car and i push on my window it moves in a bit. |

Get yourself a Chiltons manual for the car, it'll come in handy as a guideline for things like this. The door panel is easy - remove all screws that you see and anything else thats in the way(hint: trim around handle), then pop all the clips around the bottom, both sides, and a few on top.
As for the window rattle, thats another common issue - sign up on DSMtuners.com and do a search for window rattle and you should find a tutorial on how to rectify the issue.
Hope this helps. |

| Paul's Eclipse is the only one I've ever seen that doesn't have window rattle. |

| o really, is there anything special he did to make that happen? |

On the 99, it does not rattle, and has not been fixed yet. On my 96, i fixed it 4 or 5 times in a year. It would last for a month, maby two, then start up again. Eventually i just gave up. |
