Bike Schools - Click HERE for Original Thread

Don't know where to post this so i will do it here. Can anyone recommend a good school to get your bike license? My buddy wants to get his before the graduated license sytem kicks in.

Oh shit, I didn't even think that would apply for bike licenses. He could call the Alberta Safety Council at 462-7300 or online at www.safetycouncil.ab.ca

I'll be signing up for this June, that's the earliest that I can get in right now.

Edmonton safety council was also recommended to me by numerous people. I'll be going for my lessons/licence May long weekend

Graduated licenses dont make a difference, theres no curfew or anything. The curfew is just for learners. The only thing is no alcohol tolerance. You dont want to drink and drive a bike ne ways.

Well I'm not going to be doing this anymore. I've been put in my place by the rents, and as much as I want a bike, I can't afford to move out and save for school too......so the bike is out for this year!

yeah, edmonton safety council is the best place. they hold the lessons at the griesbach base tarmac. you ride thier bikes (250cc's). it's a 3 day lesson with the later half of the second day and early half of the 3rd day, getting you prepared for the driving exam. but you actually take the riding test the 3rd day and they prepare you by teaching you exactly what to expect at the riding test. after that all you have to do is take you slip to AB registries and write the written portion.

just register early though, classes fill up fast and it would suck having bike but not taking your classes until the end of summer

I dunno possibly, but I've decided to throw a little money at the Buick so that I at least have something a little fun to drive this summer.
