Looking to buy a AE86 GT-S, in the Edmonton area. I need a daily driver, as I start a new job next week. Cant find a AE86 anywhere! Budget is quite low at ~$1200. I could get an SR5 but I would rather hold out for a GT-S.

your going to be useing it as a daily driver? why do you only want a 86? and it will be on the harder side to fine one for $1200.

Well, the AE86 will be a future project car, but daily driven in the mean time. I just got a job with Telus, so hopefully in the future I'll be able to afford to do some work on it.
$1200 is a touch on the light side, yes, but I saw an '87 for sale 2 weeks ago for $1700 (I could scrape together another $500 if I had to), and this morning a different one for $1000 (both were already sold when I called). It's possible. Just gotta keep my eyes open I guess, and drive my dad's Dodge Caravelle in the mean time. Downtown parking is going to suck hard. |
