I spent the extra money on a 2 way compustar alarm/starter. Well worth the money...... best thing I have done to the car.
If you are interested, the only place I would recommend getting one is "Ultimate Sound Connection" on Argyle road.
Any shop that installs a starter will tell you that you have to give up one of your keys to permanently imbed in the steering column to fool your immobillizer into thinking you are starting it with the key (which has a chip in it if you didn't know). Vingo at the above shop knows how to bypass this feature without giving up a key.... best of all your immobilizer (anti theft) is still 100% functional. I had a blank key cut to test it......:thumbup: |

| I was under the impression he was talking about an actualy starter. Like the one that bolts to the tranny. Right? might have one I can sell you |
