Wookey
seen this car cruisin around a couple times. Looked great:thumbup:

twinturbo
how long have you had this car?
how long has it been in the country?
that is unusually high mileage for jdm, but it looks great! any problems that need attention?

note from the owner

i'm the 2nd registered owner of the car, had it for about 6 months. the previous owner imported the car about 18 months ago. i've put an average of 1000km/mo. on it since i purchased it. the o.o.p. showed very strong compresion test results so the motor has plenty of life left in it. interested buyers should also know the right side tie rod has a small crack and will need to be replaced in the near future. the seats are pretty worn (as are most crx's) other than that this car is amazing. understand the vehicle is 17 years old, its in really good shape with NO RUST!. yes i realize it's possible to import a similar crx with less km for around the same price, but here is one you can actually touch, inspect, drive or whatever before you purchase. rather then forking over 50% of the vehicles cost just to get it here and still have some unsuspected surprises. plus you would still be responsible to do all the work required to pass o.o.p. inspection, as well as waiting..if you dont mind a few months. these are some of the situations i've experienced when i was looking to import before i found this car and what i've heard from a few guys who have imported themselves. thanks for all the negative and positive comments.

p.s. the reason i'm selling my dream car is because i really need to buy a house

konartis
do you live in sherwood park?

baker_jeff
Sweet deal. Did you buy this off Graeme at Kia? If so, the car has been babied!

chinos

Just wondering, if you park this thing outside in the winter, would the Glasstop crack?:dunno: or shatter, due to the extremely cold weather, and the hot and cold fluctuations?
Oh and is it just the top glass that's tinted bronze?

chinos
as far as i know the car has been here only one winter and hasnt been driven, as for it being parked i cant speak for the 1 previous owner but if i still have it over this winter it will be garage'd. and i dont think it would crack due to weather conditions cuz it's no different then the glass on the hatch, in fact it's almost like an extension to the hatch. all the windows except the windshield have a light bronze tint and the glasstop has a bronze mirror finish to it.

baker_jeff
Bronze factory tint FTW!! Glasstop is fine in the winter, I drove mine last winter with glasstop and CF hood no problems.

I mean if it was parked outside. :dunno: Like if you live in an apartment and the parking is outside in the back right by the alley.

DeathBy240
The windsheilds, sunroofs and T-tops of other cars dont crack in the winter, why would this piece of glass?

deuceswild_2

It's been in country for a long time now, and very well taken care of.

$7,000 is a very fair price. Importers are asking up to $12,000 for an example this clean.

Type. K
hot.... very hot. good luck with sale, very nice ride.
