CYA
those aren't just photo spots... it's just spots where you can get tickets for speeding or running late yellows.

Geezuz Sam, that'd place you #1 our resident expert on the topic!!...

There's one near Belle Rive in Edmonton. The police hide behind bunch of trees and if they see a fast car, they chase it...

Genki
Holy Crap that is a huge list! but I'm as lucky as you.... only 1 speeding tix wiht my car . And I always drive using the 10 over limit rule too eheh.

TurboBlueNX
My lsat real speeding ticket was &#36355... Not counting photo radar...
Along 152 just before 97th st the raod takes a slight right wind, heading west. They hide in the trees there...

CYA
hehe... yeah well if you know my driving style you'll know why i keep track of where the cops like to hide. those are the main roads i use so that's why i don't cover some areas of the city. anyway... one more to add to the list.

groat road south bound and 111ave (red light cam)

happy driving ppl!
cya

the red light cam on 97st and 137ave looks at southbound traffic

Does anyone have a nice mini map of Edmonton on jpeg format? We should put the map on Asianet and put a little red dot or something where all the photo radar areas are etc.
What does everyone think?

[/b][/quote]
I've noticed this is on the center lane, does it catch red light infractions on any lane on 97th southbound?

seven
ya, i think it does... you planning on making a couple of test runs? hahaha.

also watch out for radar southbound on 109 street just before high level bridge... cops hide behind the hill on the right-side entrance to the bridge
photo radar is also on:
whitemud (east) a little before the fox drive exit
whitemud (west) a little after the 149 street merge ramp

Check this url, it gives you a listing of photo radar sites.
http://www.police.edmonton.ab.ca/Pages/Media/PhotoSites/PhotoSites.htm

Aw man, 97'th street is nearly done... 3 lanes both ways of glorious fresh pavement.
Time to do some tuning runs.

whitemud (westbound - 53rd ave & also on the 159th st overpass)... they always park at the top of the overpass.. wait until u pass them then they chase u (was this already mentioned??)
st.albert... entrance (going through 170th st..) they hide behind trees just after you pass the FIRST stop light (intersection of 170st and levasseur rd - northbound).. prior to it the road is 70km then it changes to a 50.. so be careful..
oh and on the same intersection (southbound this time) police always park there with a radar gun...

CYA
reno - yes... cops will give you a ticket for that. they call it stunting.

137ave east bound near the food for less or home depot... i think that's somewhere around 140st?
cya

Marximus
113a St, between 137ave and 135 ave. How do I know? I just got the flash tonight.
FRICK!

siopao
ouch man

Liroy
This is Liroy.
heading westbound on University ave, just off 114st, there is a patch of bushes with gaps in between every block i would say. Its the ave that goes later down by hawrelak and eventually connects with groat road. Anyway , i think its like 116st and University ave, the Photo radar van likes to stand there often. Almost every time i drive by there it is there, between the bushes. Watch out because it's a 50 zone as well, and you seem like you're going so slow. They also stand on the other side seldom, but they are obvious to see, big van on the side of the road.
