I bought the car today. I will be the second owner first one bought it new in 1977 when he lived in ontario and drove it to alberta before it turned to rust!
it has 265xxx kms on the 20r. It has lest rust then my corolla and its 9 years older and 99% surface rust!
The downside is it needs a clutch, i was going to move it today but...wouldnt go into any gears maybe seized the clutch cause it sat for a year. And an exhaust. but thats a minor problem.
Its pretty much a "barn find" but in the city! lol well she will be driven over the winter whilst im building my rolla and then rebuilt in the summer...time to venture into the world of carbs. anyone happen to have a clutch..?

Thats an awesome find, I love that body style.
and a 1UZ in one of those would be great, I've wanted to find one to restore and do that swap on. Would probably take a lot of reinforment to make the chassis able to handle any kind of power though, so it'd be a big project. |
