I bought the car today. I will be the second owner first one bought it new in 1977 when he lived in ontario and drove it to alberta before it turned to rust!
it has 265xxx kms on the 20r. It has lest rust then my corolla and its 9 years older and 99% surface rust!
The downside is it needs a clutch, i was going to move it today but...wouldnt go into any gears maybe seized the clutch cause it sat for a year. And an exhaust. but thats a minor problem.
Its pretty much a "barn find" but in the city! lol well she will be driven over the winter whilst im building my rolla and then rebuilt in the summer...time to venture into the world of carbs. anyone happen to have a clutch..?

UPDATE!!!!!
i dropped by tonights meet but not many people where there when i arrived and i had to leave early before much people showed up...aha well...wooness

i feel like such a noob i didnt fully check the clutch opereating system so today when my friend went to find a place to go to the wash room i decided to see if the fluid was all right...aha turns out the fluid was missing in action:e that coulda explained the dead pedal feel:roll we,, we bleed the system flushed it out and put new dot 3 in..and....well she moves not very fast...but still quick in its old age to be compareable to a sr5 off the line!:D also discoverd that there is a hole in the floor... they coverd it with wood...so when my friend is back down from working up north were going to weld that and the exhuast back to new. after that find out why i have a vibration in the rear axel..any one know if a mk1 supra will fit?...or even my corollas;) well...heres some new pics! ps any one know where i can get a set of smiley bumpers:D

Thats an awesome find, I love that body style.

and a 1UZ in one of those would be great, I've wanted to find one to restore and do that swap on. Would probably take a lot of reinforment to make the chassis able to handle any kind of power though, so it'd be a big project.
