Is there any sort of quick connect/disconnect harness kit for a trunk mounted amplifier/sub box where you could remove it quickly without having to individually remove the wires for the amp? If so, any links?
Thanks in advance |

| What kinda amp is it, and what gauge of wire are you using. I might be able to find a plug online for ya. |

It's an infinity

I don't think the type of amp is really importaint. I don't think I am making myself clear. I'm hoping for something where you run all the wires from the amp (rca, power, ground, turn-on) to a harness with 2 sides (like a male and female). Then you connect all the wires comming from your deck/battery into the one harness. Then you can quickly connect/disconnect the wires?
I'll be using 8 gauge as a power wire probably.
If that makes sense? |

| When I saw the Sonic Intern Army CRV's I noticed that they had some sort of plug on their box, which I think had the amp built in. Their systems were done by FX audio, maybe you should contact them (?) |

| Why don't you mount the amp to the car instead of the box and then just remove the box? Then you would just have to deal with the speaker wire. And if you used something like a banana plug it would be really easy to remove. And I assume you are doing this to get the weight out for the track and the box is usually 99% of the weight. I wouldn't be too worried abou the amp. |

Yeah that's a good point. I see what you mean. Thanks a lot! |

Here's another possibility:
Buy an 8 gauge quick disconnect, the have them at gregg's distributors, or Here
Which should be good for the power and ground. They have little quick disconnects at canadian tire or radioshack for the remote wire, and then you just have to unplug the RCAs.
I think that's as easy as your going to get. Put the amp on the back of the box and take it all out. That's what I do.
