If I do

Ignition wires coil

new intake and exhaust

will my mileage improve? yes no?

Cobra_R
can this be moved to performance and sound. I fucked up.

Markgase2000
If your old ones are gettin worn out yes! Other wise who knows. Upgrades on these items wont change mileage but if the old ones are worn out or depleting then yes it will be better than having crapped out wires plugs/coils. OEM is made to be ultimately Fuel efficient to compete on that scale upgrading these components will either improve (make better than worn) or make the same as stock and if better only by very little like a hundreth of a mpg per gallon.

: )

General is fine IMO for this topic.

Cobra_R
damn

Markgase2000
Whats the biggie my brother?

Cobra_R
nothin I wanna see if i can put a 92 f-150 into 13's.

Cobra_R
I wanna do it with some minor engine work and mostly Bolt ons. but uh high 14's looks like a reality without some form of forced induction. And I hate superchargers.

Markgase2000
What engine? 5.0 or 5.8?

Cobra_R
5.0

Markgase2000
OMG skies the limit for you : )

; )

One of the most available performance modifiable engines on the planet!

Take your time and look into this cus you may be suprised at what the outcome may be. Look at mustang 5.0 mods and look at Automotive Forums.com for other 5.0 early to mid 90's F-150 owners enthusiast forums. Ask some questions and see what you can find. let me know what comes of it : )

Cobra_R
yeah eventually my dream is to have it rebuilt and a turbo mounted to it. :loco:

but till then exhaust intake and basic tune up.

Cobra_R
damn cant edit posts also want to redo the paint and go a black on chrome with black interior with billet accents.

Explain then how programmers/chips give you better fuel mileage than stock?

dont you have to use premium fuel and the price offsets the mileage gain. :dunno:

Gonna need a built motor, and lotsa boost to get into the 13's.
