| Does anyone know where I could find a turbo kit for a 1987 Toyota Celica GT-S? |

Why not just swap in a 3SGTE out of an All-trac/GT-Four?
Check the Celica forums. Its easy. Buuuuut, I also own an '87 Celica... are you sure it's something you want to put money in? |

I wanted to see if there was a cheaper way to do it then get a custom turbo kit put together and installed, if I can do it for cheaper then i think it would be pretty cool |

Yes, but thats if you can afford it. and you can also ceck out homemadeturbo.com. and agian its costly cause when you are turbo'd you will be breaking alot of stuff.
Edit: Here is a good link i know its a 91 but still. http://homemadeturbo.com/turbo_projects/snafubmx234/ |

| You have the same engine that my Camry had last year. That exhaust manifold sat on the front the engine pointing at me constantly saying 'boost me, boost me.' haha, there is so much room to build a turbo system on that engine it's ridiculous. |

Seriously, check out the Celica forums. I found one or two that had useful info. The engine you have now is the 3SGE - just a non-turbo version of the 3SGTE (Celica All-trac, MR2 GT)
I read guys who just bolted on the exhaust manifold, turbo, injectors, fuel pump and ECU from the 3SGTE and kept the boost low. You would have the same engine, but I would assume it would be higher compression. For all that stuff, it shouldnt cost you too more than $1500 or so, since the entire engine is probably $2000. |
