Unfortunately, I can't make it out tonight, but insurance has replaced my stero components and I'm wondering if anybody's had any experience with something like this:

Graham, you had a sub built into the bins, right? Was the box plain MDF, fibreglass or something else? Thanks. |

A friend of mine and I built the sub box out of MDF. It was actually quite the task and we had to add a peice of PVC tube to the left side (driver side) of the sub box to get the full 2 cubic feet of space (12" sub).
We removed the entire bin from the passenger side and then used Velcro to keep the lid on the carpet.
If Zerro still has the car he might let you have a look at how it was done. Message him =) |

Definitely do. That sounds like an awesome idea.
Let me know how it turns out. Talk to Zerro I think he has the bag and storage box that I took out of my car to put that sub in. |

| i just bought that car with the sub box in it (red 88?) really jimmy rigged stereo the sub cuts out when i shift into first haha and the sub box is not as good as it could be ill give you the box out of that car im going to fiberglass one in so let me know if you want it or all that guys hard work will go in the trash |

There were no stereo problems when I owned the car... (if it is the one you are referring to).
I agree. The sub box could have been a bit better. Good luck getting it out if that is my old car... |

| yeah graham its ur car..and the cd player had nothing wrong with when i had it too..maybe hes talkin about the amp and the sub...which were not in the car when i sold it. |

I'm happy to see it is being put to good use =)
The stereo all worked really well when I had it =)
I had a rockford 500w amp that I bridged driving a Clarion S type 12" when I had it. It pounded pretty good.
Check the grounds and other leads... maybe there is a short or a bad connection. |

ya i have the titanium 500.1 with a 12"clarion in it and it sounds good but i still want to fiberglass one to look more flush
oh and how long have you had that car before zerro had it |

| I owned it for.... over a year I think. It dropped an apex seal and I didn't have time to fix it. So I sold it to Zerro |

| what does it mean when i can smell rad fluid when i put the heat on is there a water seel gone or is it the heater core ?? and my exhaust is smoking alot. |
