| I missed Weeds last night and I'd really like to see it. Anyone know a good site for downloading recent shows? It's Season Two - Episode Six - Crush Girl Love Panic. |

They have a great listing, but are usualy quite slow and have postings from trackers that require registering.
Torrent spy is very good with it's trackers. |

| Go to Torrents Search Engine, it crawls about 20 other torrent sites. It's your one stop torrent shop! |

it is not a torrent site but a search engine/compiler;)
edit:
i also suggest utorrent due to its extremely smal lfoot print and no need for an install. |

| I can find pretty much anything I want using isohunt and torrentspy, unless it's something strange from across the pond, like Blakes 7 (best TV show ever). In that case, mgatorrents.co.uk will have it. They do have a fairly big selection of mainstream American TV too though if you desperately need something |

Prison break is great!
Some shows I like to watch:
Hero's- very fresh idea for a show (cashing in on all the super-hero hype) very original and excellent writing.
The Unit- the consultants for this show are amazing, all the little details I usually nitpick over (ammo capacity, grenade fuse times, tactics, etc.) are quite accurate. Then there's a little drama to keep the girls interested but enough gun battles to keep the guys interested.
Battlestar Galactica- great combo of writing, drama, action, and acting.
Smith- a great show about a man who is trying to balance his family life with that of his proffessional theif career. |

Shark anybody? Great show, James Woods' character is my favorite type of character: The cocky, arrogant, compassionate prick.

Blakes 7 you mean? It's the original Space Opera. It came out originally about a year before Star Wars. It's got some of the worst acting and worst special effects you'll ever see. It's very British, so the actors are obviously more stage/theatre actors then TV, but it adds to the charm in my opinion.
There's an evil empire that controls most of the galaxy, but do so through drugging, forced labour, etc. Blake was the leader of the freedom fighters who had his memory erased and thinks he's a normal citizen. Some of his friends find him and take him to a secret meeting of the Underground, but the Federation shows up and kills everyone, but they don't want to make a Martyr out of Blake, so they frame him with child abuse and ship him off to a penal colony, but on the way his prison ship finds some strange alien ship that he and some of his friends take over. They use it as a base to fight the Federation since it's more advanced than anything the Federation has every seen.
It's only 4 seasons, so it was short lived, but I think it's amazing. Plus Glynis Barber stars in the last season, and she's got to be one of the hottest chicks that ever lived. It's got a huge following though. It's full of aliens, space battles, monsters, spies, etc. It's just got everything, except romance (only 2 or 3 episodes with anything remotely romantic), which in my opinion is something I don't care to see anyways.
It takes some getting used to the bad acting and special effects, but if you can learn to laugh at it instead of letting it bug you, you're set. A lot of the cast, writers and directors moved on to Dr. Who, so if you're a Dr. Who fan, you'll love it. Great show. |
