D16Y8 w/ T3/T4 turbo - Click HERE for Original Thread

A friend of mine has this setup in his car and isn't running the best. He has a new fuel pump and bigger injectors, With runnin only 6-7 psi shouldn't the stock components be able to handle it though. just curious on everyones thoughts.

How is it not running so well ?

I need more information before I can give an opinion on it.

All you are telling me is his car runs like crap. That could be completely unrelated to the installation of a turbo or not.

What does he have for engine management if any?

He doesn't have any engine management, he bought another ecu but not sure what it is off of.

you can't just put bigger injectors in it and expect it to run... it might be fine on boost, but it's way too much fuel for everythinng else. you must use a VAFC or else something like an uberdata reprogrammed ecu.

Turbo_Civic92
