Yea so I was driving to work on 17 street 98 ave at 1030 this evening when I got a flat. no biggie. I changed the tire to the spare and started to drive no more then 15 feet when i hear a distant pop. The spare was no more, So I started to walk back to town to the abbotisfield area where i live and I saw a couple of police officers who me a ride to the husky at 118th ave and something 50th street. That cut off about 10 blocks to my travels and then I started to walk back when a old lady pulled over a gave me a ride to the boston pizza near 34th street. I thanked her so much, she said i reminded her of her nephew.... aww. I then continued my journey onto the on ramp of bevely bridge when a trucker then stopped. He gave me a lift to my car. He gave me some good advice tonight. Go to canadian tire and pick up one of those portable air compressors that hook up to the battery and also a can of sealant. He said he never goes anywhere without those items. BTW I decided against going to work and came home. Again I want to thank all the people who helped me on my journey tonight.... What a adventure.....

I got home at 1 am....

Nice to hear there are still some decent people in the world. Unfortunately none of them happen to be driving by when I break down.:(

Good to hear there are still some nice people around.

Last year I was driving my truck a little to spiritidly, and hit a patch of loose graval and hit the ditch hard, with both my rear tires in the air.

This is in the middle of nowhere North of Grand Prarie. Some people were nice enough to stop and offer a hand and to drive me back to where I was going.

That was with the Z after a drunk asshole wrote it off when I had just spent 8 hours modifying and installing suspension. I wasn't exactly pleased with your comment.

Yes, that is good advice. I picked up a simple air compressor at Canadian Tire for about $15 or $20. A can of sealant is great to have in an emergency, but if you ever do use it, you should get that tire changed or properly repaired soon afterward. That foam crap isn't good for aluminum wheels.

I usually carry a set of booster cables and a jumper pack (12V battery), a basic toolbox with some crescent wrenches, vice-grips, screwdriver, wire, spare fuses, tin foil, candles, and of course, duct tape.

I carry a few extra items in the winter time, like an extra pair of pants, a jacket, gloves, hat, toque, blanket, and some chocolate bars. A bag of kitty litter and a small shovel is a good idea, too.
