Awesome job by Jason. I'm so stoked that he won over that prick Ed Herman.
Anyone know where Jason trains out of? Somewhere local?

| Jason MacDonald looked excellent tonight. To bad that cant be said for the rest of the card. I thought other than MacDonald/Hermann fight it was a snooze fest. At least Shamrock went out like a champ with some class. |

JayMac's fight was incredible. I was literally jumping up and down.
He trains out of ProCamp and Panther's. Unfortunately, you can't train with his group unless you are elite yo. |

I am not much a UFC fan, but I am pretty sure I watched Ortiz beat the ever living crap out of Shamrock a while ago on a Spike TV special. I was hoping Shamrock had enough left in him to do some damage to Ortiz, but he was abused badly in that fight. This must have been a rematch, but I am surprised Shamrock would do it again after the previous whipping.
As a disclaimer, I really like the idea of mixed martial arts fighting, but when I watch fights where two guys roll around the whole time giving each other elbows in the head while trying to lock in a submission hold, I get bored(like when 2 heavyweight boxers spend 10 rounds in a clinch). I find a boxing match between a couple of good middleweights(give or take a weight bracket) to be more entertaining, but that's just my old school opinion. I grew up watching boxing, so that's my prejudice.
I think these mixed guys are pretty freaking amazing, though. Tito Ortiz scares me a lot more than any boxer I can think of, outside of Tyson with a gun. |
