I'm looking to replace my shift boot and shifter, the silver ring around the bottom of my shift nob has cracked in a few places and has these razor sharp edges on it and I'm tired of cutting up my fingers...
Just wondering if anyone has this for sale or knows of a good place to get such an item.
Thanks :) |

| well, if you buy an aftermarket shift knob you will have to buy the boot to go with it, the spacer, and the knob so it will run you about 200. i would suggest buying all that if you want to, if not go to honda and get a new boot (if yours is damaged) if its only the knob go and buy a new knob of your choice for about 80 dollars or find one for sale in a thread, you normally can. Then you take off your old one and i will explain this trick that i did that works amazing with aftermarket knobs and the honda boot, saves you money for the spacer and the aftermarket boot. Once you get your center console off which will be needed to take your shift knob off install the new shift knob. With the old shift boot, fold it inwards to get the rough edges left from the old knob out, pull the boot up to the desired level on the knob that you want, now take one of those zip ties, the small ones, and fasten it. take electrical tape and wrap it around the zip tie and a bit of the metal shifter as well. Pull the center console back down and bolt it back in place. This may sound like the cheap way out but it looks alot better than having a shifter sticking out of you shift boot like i see alot now a days, and saves you alot of money. That is if you dont have to go and buy a new boot. If you do than i would just buy the spacer as well. Sorry its so long just thought i would help you a bit. |

EBAY ebay is loaded with them here is a link dont get ripped off by a dealership, i worked at one you will pay almost 200 to 300 percent more on some items and others over 500. Undercoat is close to a 500 percent profit for the materials they are using. haha but of course i got all that stuff for free under the table. :D
go to the parts and accessories, see more, then decals emblems etc catagory. some good deals right there
