Just wondering if anybody knows where in Edmonton would have stock for KYB GR-2 shocks? Or anyplace that can get them?
I did some leg work last time I was in the city, and all I found was monroe, gabriel(which I am considering) and the CT cheapie gas shocks
Thanks |

I found NAPA has the gr-2s, and some other line, dunno if they where the agx, didn't cost very much though
I ended up getting the napa(gabriel) top of the lines for up front, I haven't driven her hard yet, but from what I did last night body roll is 1/4 of what it was.
I have air shocks in the rear now, one has a leaky bladder or whatever, I ordered the napa(gabriel) load carriers, a hd shock with a small coil over spring around it. kinda like same concept of rear mountain bike suspension or quad suspension. Those had to be ordered from teh warehouse.. I'll get them next weekend(woulda been today if I lived int he city)
All the KYB stuff they had cost less than the gabs I got.
Thanks for the tip though. The guys on Allpar suggested the gr-2s, they said there was another kyb model that would work, but really stiffen the ride but could be a 5-6 week wait to get them.
Stiff ride, bah, I ran 200psi on my air shocks without a complaint. |
