Haven't heard from you boys all Summer.
Let's get alittle roll call and update here.
My 2's down for the Winter. Only mod this year was a Spec Stage 3 clutch. Keeping my fingers crossed for a new turbo and intercooler for next season. :fingersx:

I had to change my alternator this year too Anthony. Pretty pricey endeavour man. Bend over and lube up....:D |

New alt. from NAPA?? Something like $300 w/ the core exchange. Warrantied for 2 years. ($700 from Toyota!! :eek: )
My Uncle actually did it for me. You have to drop the crossmemeber and what not to get to the alt. Tight fit too. I think Toyota quoted me some obscene number to do the job, can't remember off the top of my head. If you can't do it, give Rob a shout and see what he can do. |

| I bought it off a guy in the states who had the work done on it. He had it upgraded, ran a few runs on the dyno and then chnged his mind and put on a GReddy kit.. All I know about the upgrades are that it has a T04 wheel and the compressor housing is ported and the exhaust blades are clipped. its supposed to be good for 300-350 wheel. I think i paid five or six hundred shipped, so it wasnt too bad. My other turbo didn't completely blow up.. I just blew the seals out of it so I had a bunch of oil in my intercooler piping. It was starting to get a bit of shaft play too so i decided i didn't want to just wait around for it to completely go on me. |

Yeah it spools a bit higher but I expexted that.. its not bad though. It spools at around three grand with a three inch down pipe and the stock exhaust. I've been looking at a KO racing exhaust but I'm not sure which route im going to take with that yet. |
