You could try Ja-Co Welding and Consulting out in Nisku.
They build oil field stuff, but you could probably ask them to
build you a welding deck (presumably for a truck?) as a special order kind of thing.
The number is 955-2251 and they are located at 1304 - 8th Street. I'm not exactly sure about it, but it's a start :dunno:

jberger
yeah its for a 06 dodge 1ton
thanks guys

No problems, what kind of work are you gonna be doing?

jberger
i have been doing pipeline and plant fab (tie ins and fabing spools )welding for the last 5 months, the job ended so i would like to switch up my truck to a deck , i am just running a box unit ( it sucks)

definately try boden fabricating just on 17st and sherwood park freeway, they do excellent work, we get their welding rigs and misc. trucks in all the time to get sprayed with our chemical

examples

call DON @ 449-5000 or his cell @ 984-2071 and tell him that the guys from ARMAGUARD sent you down, he might give you something of a deal who knows

hope it helps

Godzilla
agreed with boden, i know a guy who got his 98dodge 1 ton done there, good quality, they matched the paint on the truck. all in all a good job

Wookey

Sorry to say but they build one a much much larger scale then a welding decks for trucks. And for that fact they dont build any decks for trucks.

But like you said, Nisku is a great place to start.

If your a welder why dont you build your own ?

silvermist
there is a place on 156st south of the yellowhead an dnorth of 118 I believe that biulds decking for fire trucks and ambulences and shtuff like that you could try them, but for the life of me I can't remember there name, it is a white building with blue trim. they do all the boxes and rigging you see on the city trucks and stuff.

time and the fact that i do most if not all my welding on pipe and pipe related things, so building a deck would be very new, if i had lots of time i would

jberger
i talked to boden and they arent cheap 25000 grand for a decent deck so i will keep on lookin

svt28
give SWS box & hoist a try, they are located in weslock i believe but they have many decks already prefabbed.

jdmdelsol
just build it yourself....I do all my welding on pipe too....(rolling pipe and position) its not hard....use mig or even 7018....its 100 times easier to build a deck than it is to do an x ray weld in position

jberger
well the problem is i am in fort mac , so time is the biggest issue, but i did find some placese that i like so i am just designing it as we speak
