Price for 94 Integra GSR - Click HERE for Original Thread

RX_AGENT
Looking at a 94 GSR with 105000KM, stock, Clarion CD, 5 spd, no rust, no major dents or door dings, not winter driven, decent red paint.........had the back bumper replaced because of accident, seems to be fixed properly. No major wear and tear parts replaced yet(Timing belt & CV boots, etc). It's asking price was 15500, I offered 14000 and he countered with 14500.

Is it even worth 14000???? Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

REDX2NV
ummm noo......!!!!

i've seen gsr's go for around $6000-$10000 with similar mileage!!

Get a supersonic blue pearl GSR
That was my second choice to a type r..

Anyways if your going to spend that much get a R, there is one at the dealer for $19000, and one in calgary for $19000 too.

RX_AGENT
6000-10000???? How come I've never seen a GSR for that price in my life?!?!?!? Even the ones with over 200000KM? I feel that 14 is a little high, but for the price you listed???? I don't think that's possible. Maybe you're thinking about the LS,RS, GS???? The GSR has the B18C(VTEC 170hp) engine, that's why I want that model in specific. Type-R is nice but over my price range unfortuantly.

REDX2NV, would you be able to point me in the direction of the $19000 Type-R?

Thanks!

ManHunter
Kelley Blue Book list it at 6300$US

the other car is at alberta honda on yellowhead trail..

a few months ago i was looking at a gsr, 150k, $7500..Wait and see hwta pops up, thers must be something out there

i swtiched froma 5th gen prelude to a R, and what a difference it is

scooby_dooby
well i think you can be sure that any g3 gsr for 7500 must have some body damage, or something along those lines.

I've seen g2's gsr's for $8000+, but without looking at them I can't say why they were 8000. I'd say if it's mint, paint's still good, interior is mint, engine is not leaking any oil, the $12000-13000 would be worth it.

The best g2 LS's, the really mint ones, go for around 9000.

scooby_dooby
if i were you i'd offer him 12, tell him to take his time think about it, and leave your number. if no-one picks it up in a couple weeks i bet he'll give you a call

6-10K are those DA GSR's?
that's pretty cheap for a DC2 GSR?

CanadianR
6-10k even for a 2nd gen GSR is very cheap, and i've never seen a 3rd gen for less than 12k, hell my buddy bought a 93 GSr 2 years ago with 175,000 k's on it for 12k. I think 14k sounds alright if it's in great shape.

scooby_dooby
ya but the 2nd gen's a little different cause they're so much more rare. they were only made for like 2 years. i remember reading there are only like 1500 in north america, and the CDM is the rarest of them all. i could be wrong about the 1500, but they are still very rare cars

REDX2NV
i dunno just seems much for a 94, you could just spend a bit more and get a R.. Much more worth it IMO..

RX_AGENT
Yeah DA's are probably more rare since they were out for only a few years, compared to the G3 tegs that were out from 94-01, but the number of mods avail for the g2 don't even compare to the number avail for the G3.

I see what you're talking about the R being worth a couple more G's I just have a really tight budget.

The R at Alberta honda sold for 23000 I believe, and the one on beyond was sold to this guy about 2 weeks ago, there must be something wrong with it if he's selling it right away. Any R under 20Gs seems fishy to me. So the diff between 14 and 23 is alot of money, to me anyways. Thanks for the opinions guys

REDX2NV
wow 23000, i thought it was under 20000..

trust me if you get a r, you wouldnt even want to mod it, its perfect from factory(i'm doing minor comsmetic changes to mine)..

there was one in the paper i called about too, he wanted $19500 obo for it, it had i/h/e, dont know if it is still in there..

RX_AGENT
I agree, if I had an R, not much mods would be done. Well if you run into any Rs, or GSRs, don't hesitate to message me, it's hard not having a car when you're used to having one. Thanks!

Hey... I wonder if this the R that Terence rolled on Groat Road... Apparently, he was doing 110+ on Groat South and attempted to pass a truck but hit the meridian and rolled it. Doing Groat in April with sand/gravel on the road and winter tires is not such a bright idea. :o  :wtf:

Maybe he realized for the $20,000 he spent on a Honda he could have had an 11 second DSM that would also double as a road race car. Full street trim. :D

Well, parts and labor are warrantied. With the standalone EMS that is included in the $20 K DSM pricetag, we could set up the fuel trims for highway cruising to get better than 28 MPG.

When one of you actually hit's 11's... Call me :P Until then, keep flapping those lips. :P

I think the Acura's are really overpriced, but since they have such great resale, you won't lose much money.
