According to Amvic if you sell more than 2 vehicles per year, then you are doing it for profit and should be paying taxes on those earnings.
Although unfortuneately it is not enforced yet.... :mad: |

| you can import 1000 cars as long as u only sell 2 a year. |

| you can only import and sell 2 a year, other wise its profit, and the dealerships made a law a few years ago that if you are caught doing this for profit with out a buisness liceince you can get a huge fine. cause they dont think its fair to have to pay taxes on the cars and sell them when some guy could import cars and do the same thing and not get taxed so now its a law that you need a buisness licience or you cna get in trouble. |

| ^ the laws are to protect the pubic from being taken advantage of by curbers. Anyone selling vehicles for profit has to have proper permits, licenses, and training. Doesn't matter whether the cars are imported or not. |

| Technically, even if you just buy one vehicle and sell it, you are required to disclose the amount you paid and the amount you received to revenue canada. As a taxpayer you are required to disclose everything. Although many don't. But you never know when you might get caught. |

| oh, sell 6, and i knew this for a while too, but importing, something tells me that you can buy as many as you can afford,but only sell 6. 7th one you're considered a business i guess |
