If you're expecting action, you should pass this one over.
If you would like to see a slow moving, "really needs better editing" story, take a chair.
There are so many better ways to tell a revenge story, this, sadley, was not one of them. With the half decent acting, pretty good wardrode and locations, I would've expected to be mildy entertained.
What I ended up doing was watching this in three seperate sittings. It moves that slow.
Laymans terms movie break down (spoiler warning ahead):
Mysterious Troll is playing with a son, a group of "knights" we'll all them, is hunting them because Troll stole a fish. They kill Troll and the one man who spots the child troll spares the childs life. Child troll grows up, and holds the one man who spared it's life responsible. This one man becomes a king of a small area. Troll kills all the knights (none of this shown). Enter Beowolf, mighty hunter. Eventually fights the Troll, but the troll rips an arm off to escape him and dies. Bla bla bla.
Ack, if you want to see a better paced revenge movie, go rent The Count of Monte Cristo. |

I seen it on rental.. thought it was the worst movie ever... and to this day I was too embarrassed to admit I've seen it.

I too am quite embarrased to have watched it. But I we HAVE to save people from watching it!.
I left the part about the creepy lake woman because it made absolutely no sense to me. The only way I can factor her in is that she's the mother to the "child troll"
Still, I think this one should've stayed a myth and not a movie. |

This is where I went wrong.
I read that during grade 11 English, and I actually enjoyed it.
This is one time where I'll openly admit that it was better on paper than it was in the theatre |
