if i don't pay a traffic ticket what happens when I have to go renew my registration or renew my license? do I just have to pay the fine before proceeding or is there a penelty as well?

You will have to pay your fine before they will let you re-register plus I think there is a 20% late fee tacked on.

I always thought after a certain amount of time they issue a warrant for your arrest if you don't pay your tickets. It's not like the TAC team is going to kick your door down, you'll just get arrested if a cop is ever behind you and runs your plate or you get pulled over for another offence.

I don't really see a way out of a ticket if you wait past it's court date.

oh well yeah I know I'll have to pay the fine no matter what...just wanted to know if there is a penalty or anything if I waited until I had to re-new my registration or license.
