dose anyone know all the cars that come in convertibles and how good they are??

Don_the_dragon
In what aspect do you mean? good like you get a better view? lighter car? better in autocross? faster? Elaborate. You make it sound like a convertible is a model of a car. So ya, elaborate.

I've actually done a theseus on the elusive "convertible" car. After travelling the globe and intervewing dozens of people who claim to have seen one, I have come to assume that there is only one solitary example of the convertible out in the wild today. There is only ONE convertible alive today.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the last remaining convertible on planet earth!

I believe it is our duty to ensure the protection of this species and I propose creating a habitat where it can roam free and where we can study its mannerisms behind protective glass, because as we know, the convertible is the most fearsome of cars...

Thank you.

mwdguy

How about a Chevrolet/Geo/Pontiac/Suzuki Firefly/Metro/Sprint/Swift? Only 2 seater though. Tiny arse cars.

Or there is always the possibility of a Honda Beat! Ownage!

If you're looking at reliable with a bullet-proof engine, and a car that was DESIGNED as a convertible, not a hacked-apart sedan that'll shake, rattle, and roll, buy a Miata.

If the car wasn't originally designed as a convertible (or a convertible designed side-by-side with a coupe), there's no point...it'll suck. Body rigidity will simply not be there.

You're looking for an '86 Cougar 'vert. Fuel economy, who needs it?

Flip

yellowsunflower
how much are you selling the 86' cougar convertible for???? it is such a nice car i love those cars i was just about to buy a 97' cougar, but it wasnt a convertible. i didnt even know they came in convertibles.

Markgase2000
I thought the cougar looked neat too but its a kitted car.

I have a question for you... What do you think of your Cavy? The engines and looks? How reliable is it to you? Does it make you happy? If so it wouldnt hurt to get a earlier model that is a convertable. Or are you calling for total change?

yellowsunflower
My girlfriend is the one looking. The sunfire's not hers, it's mine. And no i hate my car, i wish i never bought it.

sick_boy
HOW about a convertible 300zx????

yellowsunflower
Well this is her first car so she doesn't want something to powerfull unless it's a truck. Just a good reliable convertable car that's good for a learner.

sick_boy
Hey it doesnt matter how much power you got under your hood its all depends how hard you step on that pedal

Tenacious B
