Just to give you a response to your two questions.
You'll definetely have to pay GST.
You'll pay duty if the car wasn't manufactured in North America. So a Toyota made in the US is Duty Free, which if you had a Brazillian built Jetta it would be charged duty.
You'll pay a slight RIV fee, AC tax as well if you have. |

Everyone I read who has done it always states that it's fairly easy once you read the many FAQ's on how to do it.
It just requires a bit of paperwork, but on some cars the savings is $5000+ |

Read, read read.
It's not that hard.
I've done it twice.
After the second one, I'd highly recommend flying down to get it and drive 'er home. |

Im pretty sure that Customs doesnt care where it was built, when I was asking the customs guy about bringing back a z3 which was manufactured in USA they said they would still charge Duty since it was not an American based Company. |

I'd tell 'em to fuck off Jordan.
Z3 is built in the USA, and that's that. They can't legally make you pay duty on it. |

Look at prices and check.
Check www.riv.ca to make sure the cars are admissable. |
