I think I might be partially retarded. I googled around and checked the owner's manual and for the life of me, I can't find the plug in to the block heater on my 2000 SiR
any ideas? |

There's always the possibility that the original owner cheaped out and didn't get a block heater installed. Just look around for wires heading out the front of the grill.
I had to install one in my engine here before we put it back in and it was pretty cheap for a genuine Toyota unit (~$30). The big cost with having them installed is labour. |

| its behind the exhaust manifold on honda's, you might have the plug, just not the cord.. |

hey cool thanks.
how much labor do you think one would be looking at to install a block heater? just curious is all.
p.s/ figured while I'm typing (don't wanna create another thread)... does anybody know a decent place to pick up a K&N cold air intake filter? |
|

| just the filter for a cold air intake, or a drop in filter. i bought my K&N from crappy tire they were the cheapest i found. |

| u coudl likely do it yourself if you have the time and warm place, its a 24MM i think, then it just screws the plug out, then screw your heater in, then plug the wire in and done.. |

weird, I checked crappy tire's website and they listing nothing for filters*
* there's always an assumed disclaimer on my posts stating that I could very well be an idiot and not have searched properly. |
