I'm just wondering, I'm not driving my 300 right now. But when I did drive it through last winter. I noticed when it got really cold. My clutch was stiff as hell. Presumably because of the slave cylender being on the bottom of the tranny.
I just wanted to ask you guys who drive standards through winter. Does your clutch get super hard durring the cold spells? |

I have the same thing and was wondering that too.
at times shifting into 2nd is a tad stubborn. lately I've had to take corners in third and sorta nurse the clutch cause I don't wanna mash the syncros by forcing it.
no grinding or anything of the sort, but more stubborn than say, during the summer. |

I run Gm syncrosmesh in all my standards. That stuff is a world of difference. |

| Ya the oil in my trany is like 80w or something. Def baby it till she warms up, no power shifting eh |

| if your clutch runs off a slave/master cylinder system, of course it will be a little stiffer in the winter... if it runs off a cable system, its the transmission fluid. i think you can change the DOT rating of the brake fluid in your clutch system, it might help a little? :dunno: |
