I know a few of you are heading down to Calgary for this. Just thought you might want to know that a heavy snowfall warning has just been issued for Calgary and surrounding area.
I have no idea if or when they will or might cancel the course, but if you are heading down there you might want to slap the winter/all season tires back on for the trip and throw the summers in the trunk or something.

I had a feeling my post was too late to do much good. You guys were probably on the road already.
From what I understand, they didn't officially cancel until 2:30 Sat. afternoon. I'm guessing they didn't want to completely cancel the course until they were sure that they couldn't get anything done. From what I've heard, it was pretty ugly though. Some of the guys couldn't even get their cars out of Race City.
I hope you didn't have any worse trouble than that. |

I think out of the ~40 cars that were SUPPOSED to show up, ~20 actually did.
We parked on the oval (embanked) & ~1/4 of the cars parked there got out by themselves (mainly subaru's & other AWD cars)
I got home safely because I FLEW home. My car is still in Calgary & I will have to get it some other time. |

Check the WCMA Forum for updates & I'm pretty sure there will be/are openings because ~10-15 people got fricking pissed off & just wanted their money back.
Thing is though, the people who stayed were able to go over almost all of the classroom portion of the school (with only 1hour left to go)
So if that is something you want to take, I don't think they will go over the entire thing again.
But if you just want seat time, go for it!!!
