I for one can't wait to see it. I mean yeah 60 and all but. Imagine if you are so good at what you do you can come back years later and still make your mark at 60 years old.
I have a feeling its another one of those if you dream it you can do it movies.

| It looks like they're going with "Rocky is a dumb fuck who only knows how to throw punches" formula. As long as it's not like 3, where he walked around in suits and sounded like a genious, I won't hate it. Nothing could be worse than that. |

Rocky I is pure genius (Rocky II it's starting to slide), and it's the two that Sly wrote himself.
Rocky I is such a great movie on so many levels, that the 'fight' is just the side piece of the entire story (in fact, they cut most of the fight sequences so the could fit in more character development).
Sadly after that they went more for the dumb fight scenes and less of the characters/plot/story. I'll still watch it, but the series went from a classic (Academy winner) to mindless drivel.
Which, oddly enough, is fitting. Most boxers go from pure ring genius's to punch drunk blithering idiots, so why shouldn't the movie? |

| Rockys I-IV are some of my most favorite movies ever (Rocky I, like ehos said pure genious) and IV wasn't even that bad (I like communist vs america movies though). I say aslong as its not like Rocky V...Fuck I hate that movie, I'll go see it for sure. |
