snow removal - Click HERE for Original Thread

I know this is more of a bylaw question.. but

I have a front drive garage. My neighbour does not.

The problem is with snow removal. This guy removes the snow 2 feet from the curb (on public streets) in front of the sidewalk. This causes so many problems for other motorists and people who come to my house. You cannot park there without getting stuck. He also shovels the snow from this in front of our driveway which makes it impossible to exit the garage unless you are speeding down the driveway.

Is he doing anything illegal? Will I have a neverending snow shoveling battle with this guy till I move out? (Which sucks because I've been in this house/crescent for 20 more years than he has.

Thanks

My neighbour started doing that to me, and he got the hint when I did it right back.

Now he pushes the snow to the other side :)

But if you don't want to confront your neighbour just call bylaw.

Just pour a big bucket of water all over his front step one night. When he slips and breaks his neck he will have a hell of a time shoveling snow onto your driveway from his wheelchair.

This is an ongoing battle.

Believe me I have done everything short of trying to hurt the guy. He is truely not a friendly neighbour. I will call bylaw when I have the free time.. Thanks for the suggestions. Might have to break out the hose :)

During the summer get a truck goto a rink and do the same thing to him. Sure its alot of work but it would be worth it to see the look on his face. Then when he looks over at your yard be standing there with the shovel and give him a polite waive.
