| siopao, what kind of car do you drive? _why not bring your stock car? _there's nothing wrong with that... you could get some practice with launching and shifting or practice getting your reaction time down. _its especially a good idea if you're new to this since we're going on a "test and tune" day and not a real competition day. _come on down and try a few races, i bet you'll like it! |

| i'm in if the new clutch works out well.<p>and for those of you with stock cars... who cares? race it anyway. my first car was a 240sx... i raced that and it was stock. a couple years ago i raced a bone stock 3 speed auto toyota tercel too. no jokes. when my mustang was stock with exception of mufflers and stuff like that i raced it like that too.<p>cya |

Keep an eye out on the main page for a primer on Drag racing at Bud. |

| yeah, don't worry about what you drive or how fast it is... just head out there and try it for a day. _if you're a beginner you'll learn a bit about drag racing. _if you're a pro you'll get to fine tune your car and how it runs. _either way it'll be a chance to meet some of the ppl here and have a good time. |

| yeah its on Sunday Sept 30th. _Budpark opens pretty early... about 9 i think... you have to be there before they close the tech inspection area. _thats usually about and hour or two after the gates open.<p>the shorts thing is mentioned in the drag racing article that marximus keeps promising to post but never does. =) come on mark, where is it?! |

Actually Tech closed sometime after 12 yesterday. Probably b/c of the lack of racers. Turnaround on runs was no more than 5 minutes. I apperently missed tech by about 15 minutes. <p>Reason why we don't have info up yet...We're keeping V8less low key so that we can properly execute a rigorous Marketting and Promotion plan...<p>
...as if. I'm just lazy. It'll be up Wednesday night! |
