Eragon...not bad actually - Click HERE for Original Thread

Decent movie all in all, ya its dragons so don't expect an oscar but I kinda liked it. Story is alittle predictable at times and reminds you of several movies (copied scenes) but I'll go ahead and give it 6.5/10, not a must see, maybe a rent..

I'm assuming you didn't read the book.. if you had the movie just seems absolutely brutal..

On top of that I thought the acting left much to be desired and a lot of serious parts ended up being kinda funny..

I think they coulda done a much better job..

Never read the book, Gf saw dragons and wanted to see it. Like I said, not great but ok. When your doing a movie like this its very easy to fuck it up, give them credit for what they ended up with, as it could have been much worse.

I saw it, never read the book but heard on my way in that it was based on a book... all I could think of was the movie seemed rushed. That and how angry I was about the accident I got into on the way there.

I'd give it 1/10 on what i remember but 6/10 if i could pay attention. :dunno:

ya i don't think that they could have butchered the book much more, with out forgetting the book completely. If you want to see this forget the movie and buy the book you will enjoy it alot more.
