| I was very impressed with it too Sam. I saw it like middle of December and was going in with pretty low expectations because of Decaprio, but I gave it a chance b.c he impressed with his role in "The Departed". It stayed away from alot of potential cheese, and came out a respectable film. :thumbup: |

Yea, same here. I thought Decaprio would blow in it. But honestly he did excellent in BOTH movies.
And yea Blood Diamond was awesome, I went and watched it a second time. |

See thats what I thought it was too, but he's actually not playing an english bloke, He is doing a South African character. If you have ever met someone who is from South Africa you will know exactly what I mean. |

I am from South Africa and his accent was mediocre, its very hard to pull off a good south african accent unless you are dutch or from there. The Diamond lord in the movie is actually South African and you can tell a huge difference in accents.
Leonardo di Caprio's dialect is horrible though, its as if they went to South Africa and spoke to a couple 6 years olds to find out how they all talk. |

| I just love how he keeps saying that "Aaaaa" line at the end of sentences. I worked with a guy from South Africa once and he did it all the time and it was bloody awesome! |
