1985 Corolla GTS coupe
I ran the VIN the other day to save all you guys the trouble. I have the report for any interested buyers (report was printed on
02/02/07). its 100% clean with active status. ODO registered at 140k in late 2005 i believe.
Suspension/Driveline:
-KG/MM 5K springs with short stroke KYB AGX adjustables (front)
-KG/MM 4K springs with non-adjustables (rear)
-Megan rear strut tower brace, front is available as well
-cusco front lower tie bar
-Whiteline Panhard (brand new, just put on)
-TRD 2-way clutch type LSD
-Hawk HPS brake pads (meaty), newer rotors
-14x7" Supra wheels with 185/60 Hankooks front and rear
-14x7" Supra wheels with nokian winters
Engine:
-Rebuilt blue top (fairly recent, runs strong)
-lot's of engine bay clean up/detailing (check pics!)
-High flow fuel pump
-HKS intake
-ported and hi-temp painted stock header
-magnaflow cat, resonator
-2.5" exhaust with megan N1 muffler
-Electric fan conversion, removed PS, looped rack (less strain on engine = more power to the wheels)
Exterior/Interior:
-silver/black exterior
-minimal rust on rear arches (will be repaired professionally, no bondo)
-previous owner hit a curb, was fully repaired before I bought it.
-I'm including a set of rare zenki GTS decals
-black interior from kouki GTS (mint, much better than stock)
-Fake Nardi wheel with TRD horn button
-Veilside evolution shift knob (shifter feels super tight)
-Niken pedals and Sparco pedals
-JDM double DIN MP3/minidisc/CD player (says hello!)
$1200 in maintenance parts alone put in by the previous owner: wheel bearings, Tie rod ends, the list goes on.
old motor went, this is the new(er) one going in. header painted with VHT paint, looks really good. valve covers were painted with gloss black engine enamel and the letters were pollished.
lot's of new gaskets, retorqued the main/rod bolts, alt/wp belt, timing belt, plugs, etc. tons of time went into assembling the engine and cleaning every bit of the bay.

yes it is running very well. would have no problem passing inspection. windshield should be fine but a picky inspector may not pass it. |

the driver fender is bad, but a replacement will be included. other than that there is the typical rust on rear arches. and one small hole underneath the trunk. |

| picked up new driver fender, started bodywork. added magnaflow cat, resonator, custom over-axle exhaust (2.5"), megan racing N1 muffler. with muffler angled out balla-style. |

02 sensor is on the exhaust manifold... I have a spare exhaust manifold if you want it... it might just be the 02 sensor gasket though.
and I am going to hawaii for a week, back sunday afternoon. i may have a chance to check my msgs once or twice while I'm there but it will be the last thing on my priority list lol. |

lol it obviously wasn't me in the dream because I would have drifted in a half circle and reversed down the touge while giving you the finger.
it was actually a previous owner who curbed it, it was sold to a well known ae86 enthusiast steveG. steve fixed it up and installed most of the performance parts and then sold it to josh. i bought it from josh and drove it for a short period of time before the engine went. the new engine has been installed and I'm still finsihing up a few things with the swap as I don't have much time to work on it.
i'm in no rush to sell it and I will gladly continue on fixing it up and doing bodywork (90% done) and then I'm gonna get it maaco'd or something. Once its done i'll register and insure it and take it to dsport and stuff. basically i'll sell it for the right offer because i would like to buy a house. |
