More info.. Is it a 10" foagte like in the eclipse or is it an enclosed 10" bose like in infiniti.. If its like the new eclipse then just get a 10" p2 or something and put it in there...

Cougar_boy
i belive that it is a 10" bose. i am 100% on this. but in my tl type S its bose sub.

Hmm.. These are good subs.. They're in plsatic enclosures and make a bit of thump. Really good quality.. You could probably get an 8" sub and small ported box and wire it up to o whatever the stock sub is hooked up to (Just hook it up to the speaker wires.. If not.. Call infiniti and acura.. See who will sell it to you for the cheapest.. Try Bose at west ed too! They can send you in the right direction!

S13
thanks, but just looking to get a used one cheap.. not looking to spend big bucks on subs for car.

STiPWR
having owned a rsx-s with the stock sub, You may aswell not even bother trying to track one down.

Completely useless.

Spend a few bucks buy an Alpine.

S13

Dude! You'll need an amp still... I have a 12" kiciker l7.. Its a 800 dollars sub.. I want 375 for it.. BRAND NEW 2007 one too... There's a guy on here with a 900w kenwood for 100 bux! (turbodreamz "looking for 2 channel amp thread") Put the 2 together and your rocking..

If not I have a 12" cvr from kicker.. 2005.. I want 150 for it haha!
I also have a rockford p3001.. 300W amp.. This is the perfect amp for a bit of thump.. This and the cvr would rock. There really isnt any such thing as a cheap system.. Unless you get a cheap sub, make a cheap box and sauder your rca's to it. lol. That a BIT of thump lol.

the jbl gto is a shallow mount sub tha thumps pretty good.
clarion makes a shallow mount sub aswell.
same with pioneer.
and a bunch of other companies.
the jbl gto retails for around 150-170,
the clarion is around 170-190,
but like someone else said it will be easier to just put in a a small amp and a sub yourself insted of looking for a specialty item.

ps: thats my kenwood that im asking 100 bucks for.
its a 2 chann 1000Wmax 500Wrms kac7252.

and if you looking for a 10 i could prolly try to get you an ultimate 10 inch t2 driver for like 60-70 bucks.

s15..`
Buy my 12 '' ultimate sub for 80 bucks if u want
BRAND NEW UNTOUCHED
:D

S13
hehe, thanks guys. i know i still need a sub. but just don't want anything too heavy you know. it was just an idea.

s15..`

i could get that same sub for less lol.
still a great sq driver.

S13
s15 : sub looks good, but i don't think my little race battery will be able to pound it too good and still run my car. thanks anyways.

s15..`
no prob bro
if u change ur mind just PM me :)

dude, you wont really need any power to make your car loud. subs are measured usually in the 90-100 db range at 1 watt, 2.83v's at a distance of a meter. so with a 300-400W max amp drawing 15-20 amps will seriously pound that sub. you do not need a big battery, just a decent alternator in your car.

S13
haha, its an 86 corolla. it a very tiny alternator. and 20yrs old

platnum accord
haha. go to walmart and by the smallest amp they have lol. you car will run it.
i will be running 1200Wrms off my stock maby 80 amp alt. i do not forsee any serious problems occouring because its a honda lol. it will never die.
the battery may but the car will not lol.

S13
haha, well i think i'll hafta wait on the subs and amp.. bought my baby some new body parts so need to save up again.
