| can you install a push start button in any car? do they simply replace it where the key hole is? How much does it normally cost if you can? |

| its as simple as getting a relay and a button, chopping your start wires off your ignition and slap them to your relay with ign 12V, button to ground. costs $5 |

I didn't really want to share with the forum but seeing as how many people don't' read my posts anymore.
My cigarette lighter! modified and removeable.!
though, ebay has many great push button start setups.
Check with the wiring in your steering column and you can set it up to run where you need your key (obviously) to be set in the run position and have the wire that would send the signal to the starter rewired to the switch inline using the push button as the break in the circuit.
I can't remember exactely how I did it but I managed. Its easy!
General Idea of the simplicity of it, and I have changed some of it for reasons of anti theft!

Or go relay too!!! |

I did a hidden push button on my 93 swift, the factor alarm was buggered, didn't have the remote, so I couldn't start it with the key. I ran my own wires from the starter relay, so turn key to on, find button and push.
I handed a shop my keys to do my clutch, forogt to tellt hem about the button... heh they ended up just pushing it into the bay. |
